WHAT IS CHADO URASENKE?
"Chado" [茶道] or "The Way of Tea" refers to the Japanese Tea Ceremony. Chado is an integral part of the Japanese heritage—unifying the distinctive matcha [抹茶] green tea with a spiritual and aesthetic discipline. Every tea ceremony engages both the host and guest, leaving both parties with an unforgettable experience.
"Urasenke" [裏千家] refers to one of the main schools of Chado.
